Gil Walter, President & CEO:
Following graduation from Indiana University with a BA in English, Mr. Walter served in the US Peace Corps in Brazil. As a young man he worked as a manager of inner city youth employment and training programs in Chicago, completed a Masters degree in Anthropology at the University of the Americas in Mexico and began his career in health care as the Executive Director of the Wisconsin Migrant Health Program. He completed a MPH in Health Care Administration at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill and has served for 30 years in leadership roles in Community and Migrant Health Center organizations of Wisconsin, Florida, California and New Jersey. He has been CEO of Community Health Care, Inc. of Bridgeton, NJ since 2001. He is a Big Brother/Big Sister volunteer and presently serves as the Chairperson for the Mayor's Campaign for Healthier Bridgeton and on the boards of the NJ Primary Care Association, the National Migrant Health Advisory Council, NACHC, and the National Center for Farm Worker Health and the Bridgeton Rotary Club. In 2004, Gil was awarded the NACHC Louis Garcia Leadership Award for distinguished service to migrant farm workers.

Robert Moran, Vice President for Operations:
Robert came to CHCI in April, 2000 after completing an MBA in Health Administration. The VP for Operations (or VP & COO) is CHCI's Corporate Compliance and Safety Officer and oversees the implementation of our Risk Management and HIPAA programs, CHCI's environment of care polices and other Joint Commission standards, and New Jersey State DHSS Licensing Regulations. This position is responsible for facility planning and licensing and negotiating and oversight of contracts, leases and agreements as they relate to the opertation of the medcial centers. The VP of Operations has been provided with extensive workshops in JCAHO accreditation, OSHA and Emergency/Terrorist Response and has become a recognized leader in these critical areas of FQHC performance.

Cheryl Ohmert, Vice President for Administrative Services:
This position is the Senior Management role for leadership of the clinical service team managers. The VP for Administrative Services has an extensive leadership, medical office management and human resources training, since 1997 in CHCI administrative support roles. This position uniquely includes Human Resources oversight for the CHCI employees. This position provides the recruiting, training, evaluation support for the medical, dental and OB center managers and their support staff and conducts compensation and employee satisfaction surveys and oversees personnel policy development and compliance.

As Associate Director of Public Relations and Development, Emily handles all media communications and grant writing for CHC. RosenBerg previously held the position of Marketing Manager for Media Communications at United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania, one of the area’s largest nonprofits. While at United Way, Emily’s public relations and social media work focused on promoting giving, advocacy and volunteerism as a means to improve education for children, income for families and health for seniors.
Emily received her degree from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. She is originally from Cape May Court House and now resides in South Dennis, NJ.

Tracy joined CHCI in September 1998 – accruing over 11 years experience in the Information Systems Department, holding a B.S. in Management Information Systems from Rowan University. She has overseen the IT needs of CHCI as it has grown from a 2 location practice to currently having over 15 networked sites – providing an IT infrastructure that has grown over 5 times its original capacity. Among many other duties, she is responsible for system administration of CHCI’s Practice Management and Electronic Health Records, data aggregation and reporting, and is a Board member for EMRX – a South Jersey Regional Health Information Organization, as well as part of NJPCA’s Health Information Technology (HIT) Task Force.
